Alex graduated from Ohio University where he earned a dual major in accounting and business pre-law. While at OU, he became a member and served in various capacities, including the finance committee, of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. Alex played several intramural sports, was a member of the accounting club, and participated in countless community activities and charitable fundraisers.
Alex recently completed coursework for the Masters Degree in Taxation at The University of Akron and is currently finishing the requirements to obtain
his Certified Public Accounting credential.
Alex's work experience in public accounting began in high school when he worked during busy seasons and summers on entry level assignments in bookkeeping and individual taxes. Alex later interned at a CPA firm during his summer breaks from college. Upon graduation from Ohio University, he accepted a position at Skoda Minotti CPAs where he was part of the tax team that focused on closely held business and their owners. His duties included tax compliance and tax planning for business and individuals as well as year-end accounting projects.
After working at Skoda Minotti from 2015 through 2017, Alex joining Schulte & Company CPAs where he has focused his efforts on providing tax and accounting services to closely held business and their owners. He also assists clients that have received tax notices from the government and is proficient in QuickBooks.
Alex enjoys playing soccer, is an avid skier and is a diehard Cleveland Indians and Cavs fan. When not at work, he resides in Copley, Ohio and loves to travel and explore new places.
