Paul brings four decades of accounting and tax experience to the office of Schulte & Company. He has experience in all aspects of public accounting, including tax, auditing and consulting. He has worked with small to medium sized businesses over his career. He especially enjoys helping small businesses with his experience in accounting and tax issues.
After graduating from the University of Akron in 1979, Paul started his career in public accounting with the firm Schlabig & Associates and was part of their firm for 18 years. He then became the Chief Financial Officer for a group of manufacturing and sales companies and remained with them until the sale of the companies. Paul then became a partner in the firm of Kee, Huchok & Co., CPA's. where he has been using his tax expertise for the past 20 years. Paul joined Schulte & Company in December 2019.
Paul is active in the community serving on various boards and advisory committies. He is currently on the board of Family & Community Services, a large not for profit umbrella organization where he previously served in the roles of Vice President and Treasurer. He is also a member of the advisory committee of Big Brothers and Sisters of Portage County where he has served as board president prior to their merger into Family & Community Services. Paul was a member of the class of 1995 in Leadership Portage County and served on their board as Treasurer for many years.
Paul enjoys the outdoors and golf. He resides near Hartville. He has one daughter.
