Thad graduated from the University of Akron in 1973 and began work at Ernst & Ernst (predecessor of Ernst & Young). He received his CPA certificate in 1975. In 1983, Thad then founded Kee & Associates, Inc., the predecessor of Kee, Huchok & Co., Inc. In November of 2019, he joined the Schulte & Company, CPA firm. Throughout his career he has been helping privately owned and family businesses providing them with the traditional CPA services of tax, accounting, and financial consulting. He has extensive knowledge and experience in corporate and personal taxes, real estate accounting and tax, accounting procedures, systems and controls.
Thad has served as treasurer of the Cuyahoga Falls Jaycees and the Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce. He was actively involved as committee chairmen of Cub Scout Pack 3180 and Boy Scout Troup 180 also located in Cuyahoga Falls. Thad also serves as treasurer of Loyola Retreat House located in Green, Ohio. On May 4, 2008 Thad received the prestigious "Magis Award" presented by Loyola of the Lakes for his extraordinary service and manifold contributions to its mission and ministry.
He is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
