Following an accounting internship and gaining fundamental experience in accounting, accounts payable and inventory management, Colin started working at Schulte & Company in 2016.  During his tenure with the firm, Colin built on an already strong foundation and has gained extensive experience in all aspects of public accounting.  Coupled with his excellent interpersonal skills, Colin is a rare commodity; a CPA that can communicate.

Colin’s day-to-day focus is assisting small to medium sized businesses and

their owners.  His easy-going personality and strong accounting skillsmakes it easy for him to achieve his goal of growing and maintaining client relationships.  Good advice from someone that actually cares about your business always builds strong relationships.  Colin has performed dozens of business valuations, assisted in the sale of many businesses and dispatched countless IRS inquiries.

Colin is a Certified Public Accountant and a two-time graduate of the University of Akron with an undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a graduate degree Master of Taxation. As an undergraduate, Colin held various positions in the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity and was awarded with top GPA and best recruiter.

After graduation Colin has made a commitment to giving back to the community, his alma mater and his fraternity.  He contributes his time and financial expertise to serve on several non-profit boards; including Ohio Iota Corporation and Good Samaritan Hunger Center.  His services saved his college fraternity an estimated $750,000 in real estate taxes over the term of a land-lease.  Colin also created a foundation to provide scholarships to undergraduates at his alma mater and volunteers at the weekly food distributions and kids bag program for Akron Public Schools. He is also on the Youth Advocacy Board with the Ohio Society of CPAs.
